How Invisalign® Works
After you’ve chosen to straighten your smile with Invisalign®, you will be issued a series of custom-crafted clear, plastic aligners. Modeled upon a series of digital pictures, x-rays, and impressions of your teeth, these aligners will be expertly created to fit the unique contours of your mouth. They are designed for optimum comfort and usability, and created with BPA-free plastic.
Every two weeks, you will switch your current set of plastic aligners out for a new set, which will gradually bring your teeth into proper alignment, giving you the smile you always wanted. In order to achieve desired results, it is important that you wear the aligners for the required amount of time—20 to 22 hours per day—and to visit Dr. Tobey approximately every six weeks for an assessment.
